I never know where to start when introducing myself, do I stay shallow with the facts or go all deep, eh I don’t know. So…my name is Naje Harper. I’m married with no children and if honest planning for children is not in the cards right now. Sometimes I wonder if I’ll ever want kids because my heart is not drawn to that responsibility. That biological clock does not scare me at all! If my speech seems a bit much, it’s due to being asked this question more times than I can count.

As you can probably tell I love God my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ very much. He saves me, He keeps me, and when I feel out of control He grants me that too! My blog will have a lot of spiritual conversation, please join the dialogue! I’ve never considered myself to be religious, as my belief is that religion is a set of rituals/traditions. But I serve a God that surpasses all religion, He is THE spiritual being that created this universe. No ritual will get me to heaven but belief in salvation from Jesus which allows my spirit to be aligned with God through a relationship with Him, will.

A healthy walk with God, a healthy body, and a healthy marriage is what I’m striving towards. I’m learning to love myself through hobbies, through creativity. For now my hobbies consist of my blog and one more creative venture that is very near to my heart. Part of me felt stagnant in my adult life. Sometimes I get the impression that as adults we stop looking for hobbies that bring pure joy and begin looking for hobbies that bring mostly revenue with a little bit of joy woven in. Now, I would be remiss if I didn’t admit that I began my YouTube channel for some kind of monetary revenue. Fortunately, YouTube quickly faded into enjoyment of a different craft, I now seek a creative space that is authentic, full of joy, and I would love to help someone along the way.

Now… You may be thinking this a weird introduction post but believe me, all that I am and all that you are, can not be told in just one post. So please, stick around check out my blogs. It’s pretty exciting to know that God is helping me move forward in Him and in myself! YAY let’s go!!
