Not everyone’s cup of tea, morphing into a new being. God is cultivating characteristics that are pleasing to His sight, while also preparing me for the being coming into my life whether it be a friend or romantic companion.
If you have the nerve to question then have the nerve to ask God. Stop sitting with questions derived from your own heartache based on the warped thinking we as humans already possess. You’re not thinking clearly as is, trauma has altered the mind only thinking of the bad and attributing most of the good to the work of your own hands. The devil would like you to forget Who brought you the good and walked you through the ugly. There’s no such thing as bad things happening to bad people or good people, it’s simple…life happens to every single person and to think you could be excluded is delusional. Trials and tribulations came to Jesus’ front door like a welcomed guest most days of His life. To suffer for God is never in vain, while the suffering we bring on ourselves God works out for the good of His children only.
Let’s be straight as a follower of God, He allows Satan to toy with the mind and the illusions of life yet He works it out for the better. To grow you, to break habits and warped thinking. Breaking is needed but it can be unwelcome when surrendering hasn’t been fully accepted. To fight against God is to drown in a sea of fleshly desires and urges, as flesh backwards spells self without the h. To hold onto God is to receive some piece of healing eventually gaining total renewal. If let go you may never achieve it. Jumping out of my comfort zone, invited to corral the neighborhoods of the big apple. Far from home, resembling the inner workings of the small city I belong to. Something feels homey yet strange in this place.
Meeting humans I’d never seen before, friendly faces becoming familiar to the mind. The vibes are correct for the first moments but what if blessings come wrapped in lessons?
