day one

You watched my SnapChat Story. You were the first person to look. Watching from afar. Possibly trying to get a view of who I am outside of work without directly coming to the source. Sometimes attraction stops at the seed. Sometimes it never grows into a full healthy tree. Some are okay with watching, while I want to be devoured into the passion of emotions. I want to taste the sweet nectar of love that hurts so good. I desire to be changed for the better because I know someone that challenges me in a way that can only be felt through intimacy. Nothing physical I want: a heart joining, soul collecting, spirit changing connection.

Years began with day one. Sensation began with the first nervous text. Connection began with the first exhilarating yet still awkward first date. Affection began the first time we held hands. Depth happened when we felt the gut wrenching trauma of our lives and felt understood. True love began the first time we showed up for each other without asking. Acceptance began when we ugly laughed together at the craziest inside joke. One day, the first time. It all begins with something that seems insignificant yet it sets the foundation. Respect took root when boundaries were upheld with no questions asked. Liking is important when we want to know and enjoy the person underneath the skin. Friendship.

I know what I’m looking for, do you? Or did you find someone that you didn’t think existed and perhaps the fear outweighs the intrigue. I understand the power my energy holds, do you know your power? Do you understand the magnitude of your energy and how it attracts people? Or are you sifting through life unaware of how beautiful you are. Sometimes we need the correct people to bring it out while other times we have to bring it out of ourselves. Lastly, the deepest care sat in the middle when prayers were whispered to The Most High God. The correct seed bloomed when God poured water over our hearts. Did God arrange it? Did God bless it? The above is true in reality when it comes from Him.
