The sun has kissed my skin, blood flowing strong through my veins. God’s grace flowing over my mind, soul and spirit. Renewed and refreshed. Walking into work ready for what is to come. The future can’t be predicted and the past is a figment of my imagination. Today is forever. Feeling as though I woke up and started the day over. 

The details are different. The only thing that remains is the grace God pours over my life. There are details I have no control over and don’t see until they hit my doorstep. Things are happening in the background, unseen mysteries that intersect my life at the appointed time. 

Lately things have been happening that I asked for yet didn’t give much effort to receive. Sometimes the effort is doing one little thing differently. It doesn’t have to mean I’m exerting a lot of energy, it’s simply different. Going to a different meeting. Helping bring meetings into hospitals and institutions has brought different experiences and people into my life. 

God put something in my heart to be of service in a way I hadn’t been in a while. I had no clue what would happen along the way. Not feeling fully prepared. In some moments even regretting my decision. Yet God is showing me that my readiness is not based on His timeline. God brings things to my path to teach, mold and further prepare me for something else, ultimately for His glory. I won’t say I know what I’m doing yet I have a great sponsor that is helping me along the way.
