priceless

Thing is about the blood of Jesus it was shed for everyone. For the people we don’t like. For the people that did us wrong. For the people we love. For the people we don’t know. For every single person who’s ever taken a breath. The love I receive isn’t just for me but it’s for you too. Priceless, meaningful, expensive beyond comparison. Our souls were purchased by grace. Cleansing our hearts is something we could never do on our own, we need Jesus. Accepting His gift is the first step. Every step is taken with God holding our hand. There’s never a moment or time that goes by without God’s watchful care.

We never have to go through life alone. There’s never a moment when we have to fend for ourselves. His love is tender and gentle yet also convicting and corrective. Never co-signing on wrong doing, He will not justify any type of sin no matter how big or small or the reason. His children have been given every good thing in order to excel in every good work. His children are those who have accepted His salvation and walk with Him daily. Actively applying His teachings. Just as a Father catches His children, He grants forgiveness when we fall and stumble. Acting out of character, yet we get back up and keep pursuing Him.

Salvation can never be lost, only gained. His blood was given by His choice, we choose Him because He chose us. God understands the turmoil inside the heart of every man, some want to be set free while others have no clue the damage being done. Some yearn for the void to be filled while others are comfortable with a lifestyle void of God. Jesus died for all yet not everyone accepts His gift. The choice is for every individual to make on their own accord. No one can force you to love Christ, it’s done in the heart because He is not a religion. God is a lifestyle, a new creation is born with Him. He is the only King to die for His people with them having to do nothing to earn it.  He saw a need, felt the hurt, yearned to share the love and gave. He continues to give every single day.

Momentary sin is different from a lifestyle centered around sin. Momentary sin is something that children of God face. Conviction has set in, we yearn to follow Christ and in doing so the devil will tempt us. Sin deadly to the soul, distraction birth from temptation. The person chooses to sin, all the devil does is entice us. God is our moral compass, His standards never change. A lifestyle of sin is someone who never considers God, constantly controlled by sin. Does not want to be around Him and sees life as an opportunity to do any and everything that makes them feel good. They are their moral compass. Dangerous because that compass can shift at any given time depending on how they feel and those around them feel.

Jesus will return soon. No one knows the day or time. We as believers have time to keep sharing His gospel and love. Once Christ comes back the door will close and accepting His salvation will no longer be possible. Someone can only accept His salvation before they die and before Christ returns. Make your choice today. Your soul and the souls around you depend on it.

Preach my daughter! Love you and you’re in my prayers on the regular. Wish I can say everyday but sometimes I forget. But I didn’t this weekend.
