Using discernment during dating is very hard. Not because the Holy Spirit isn’t speaking but because my emotions are talking so loudly. Looking past urges in the body, looking past yearning for emotional connection. Digging deep for patients in order to focus on alignment. 

Moving slowly so I can quiet my body and emotions to obey the Holy Spirit. I feel ready then there are times when I question my own ability. I think about the growth Jesus has created in me and now is the time to prove the growth has taken root in my heart.
